Billing & Refunds

Last updated: March 2026

This Billing & Refund Policy explains how billing, subscription renewals, cancellations, upgrades, downgrades, usage limits, and refunds work for Qart (“Qart,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Qart is operated by Creative Pandem, LLC.

This Billing & Refund Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Paid Plans

Qart offers paid subscription plans for access to certain features of the Service. Plan availability, pricing, features, unique-scan limits, and billing intervals may vary and may be updated from time to time.

Qart’s current paid plan structure may include plans such as:

  • Basic
  • Pro
  • Enterprise

Qart may offer these plans on a:

  • Monthly billing basis
  • Yearly billing basis
  • Other billing structures if expressly described at the time of purchase

All pricing, plan details, included features, and billing terms shown at checkout or in the account interface are incorporated into this Policy by reference.

2. Payment Processing

Payments for paid plans are processed by third-party payment providers, including Stripe.

By purchasing a paid subscription, you authorize Qart and its payment providers to charge the payment method you provide for:

  • Recurring subscription fees
  • Applicable taxes
  • Any other charges clearly disclosed at the time of purchase

Qart does not store full payment card numbers.

Your payment relationship with the payment processor may also be subject to the processor’s own terms, privacy policy, and billing practices.

3. Auto-Renewal

All paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of the applicable billing period unless canceled before renewal.

This means:

  • a monthly subscription renews every month;
  • a yearly subscription renews every year;

By subscribing, you authorize recurring billing using your selected payment method unless and until you cancel.

4. Billing Cycles

Monthly Plans

If you subscribe to a monthly plan, you will generally be billed once each month on a recurring basis unless canceled.

Yearly Plans

If you subscribe to a yearly plan, you will generally be billed once each year on a recurring basis unless canceled.

Unless otherwise stated, subscription fees are charged in advance for the applicable billing period.

5. Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes, duties, levies, or similar governmental charges associated with your subscription, except for taxes based on Qart’s net income.

Where required, Qart or its payment processors may collect applicable taxes at checkout or renewal.

6. Upgrades

If you upgrade your subscription plan:

  • the upgrade generally takes effect immediately;
  • Qart may charge a prorated amount, apply a credit, or otherwise adjust billing as described at checkout or in the account interface;
  • the updated plan terms will apply from the effective time of the upgrade.

If specific upgrade billing logic is displayed at checkout, in your account, or through the payment processor, that displayed logic will control.

7. Downgrades

If you downgrade your subscription plan:

  • the downgrade generally takes effect at the next billing cycle;
  • you will generally keep access to your current plan features until the end of the current paid billing period;
  • once the downgrade takes effect, the lower-tier plan features, limits, and pricing will apply.

If your account usage exceeds the limits of the downgraded plan when the downgrade becomes effective, certain features may be restricted until your usage falls within the applicable plan limits or you upgrade again.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription by contacting Qart at [email protected] or through any subscription management functionality that Qart may make available.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period;
  • cancellation stops future renewals;
  • cancellation does not automatically delete your account unless you separately request account deletion;
  • if you request account deletion, Qart may cancel your subscription as part of that process.

If you cancel, you may continue to access paid features until the end of the then-current billing period, unless the subscription is separately suspended or terminated under the Terms.

9. Plan Limits and Usage

Paid plans may include usage limits, including unique-scan limits and other feature-based restrictions.

For Qart:

  • monthly plans generally reset their applicable limits monthly;
  • yearly plans generally reset their applicable limits yearly.

If your subscription reaches an applicable plan limit, Qart may:

  • limit or restrict certain functionality;
  • redirect relevant activity to an upgrade page;
  • require you to upgrade to continue certain usage;
  • send service-related usage notifications.

Qart may send service notices when plan usage reaches approximately:

  • 70%
  • 80%
  • 90%
  • 100%

These notices are operational or service-related communications, not necessarily marketing communications.

10. Failed Payments

If a payment fails, Qart or its payment processor may:

  • retry the charge;
  • request that you update your payment information;
  • suspend, limit, or terminate paid features;
  • downgrade the account or restrict access until payment is successfully completed.

Qart is not responsible for fees, overdraft charges, currency conversion fees, bank charges, or similar charges imposed by your payment provider or financial institution.

11. Refund Policy

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case discretionary basis.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly approved by Qart:

Monthly Plans

Refund requests for monthly plan charges should be submitted within 14 days of the applicable charge.

Yearly Plans

Refund requests for yearly plan charges should be submitted within 30 days of the applicable charge.

Renewals

Renewal charges are generally not refundable, except where required by law or where Qart decides, in its sole discretion, to approve a refund.

Partial Billing Periods

Partial-period refunds are generally not provided, except where required by law or expressly approved by Qart.

Refund eligibility may depend on factors including:

  • time elapsed since the charge;
  • account usage;
  • whether the charge relates to an initial purchase or renewal;
  • evidence of service issues;
  • abuse, fraud, repeated refund requests, or misuse of the policy.

Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law.

12. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact:

[email protected]

Please include enough information for us to identify the account and charge, such as:

  • the email address associated with your Qart account;
  • the approximate date of the charge;
  • the plan involved;
  • a brief explanation of the issue.

Qart may request additional information reasonably necessary to review the request.

13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback or formal payment dispute with your bank or payment provider, you agree to contact Qart first at [email protected] so we can attempt to resolve the issue.

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, Qart reserves the right to:

  • contest the dispute where appropriate;
  • suspend or terminate affected accounts;
  • restrict future purchases;
  • recover unpaid amounts to the extent permitted by law.

14. Pricing Changes

Qart may change subscription prices, plan structures, features, or billing terms from time to time.

If Qart changes pricing for an existing subscription, we may provide notice before the new price takes effect, as required by applicable law or as otherwise determined by Qart.

Your continued subscription after a pricing change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

15. Promotional Offers

Qart may, from time to time, offer discounts, credits, promotional pricing, or other special terms. Such offers may be:

  • time-limited;
  • subject to eligibility requirements;
  • limited to new or existing customers;
  • non-transferable;
  • subject to separate terms.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional offers have no cash value and may be modified or withdrawn at any time to the extent permitted by law.

16. Changes to This Billing & Refund Policy

Qart may update this Billing & Refund Policy from time to time. If we do, we may update the “Last Updated” date and post the revised version on the website.

Your continued use of the Service after an updated version becomes effective constitutes your acknowledgment of the updated Policy, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
