With Qart you don't design it from scratch: you pick a ready-made, designer-crafted QR code and link it to whatever you want — a restaurant menu, a business page, a profile, a contact card or an Airbnb guest guide.

What's the difference between an artistic QR code and a generated one?

A generated QR code is the basic black-and-white pattern that a free online generator produces. It works, but it looks generic and it's usually static: once printed, its destination can't be changed.

An artistic QR code from Qart is designer-made and dynamic: it looks polished, and you can change where it points, rename it and track its scans at any time — without reprinting it.

Yes. That's exactly what Qart is built for. You can link an artistic QR code to your restaurant menu, business page, contact card, product catalog, event or Airbnb guest guide.

Because the code is dynamic, you can update the menu or destination whenever you need — the printed QR on your table or window stays the same.

Yes. Every Qart is generated with enough error correction and contrast to stay reliably scannable by any modern phone camera, even with a logo in the center and custom colors.

For best results, keep good contrast between the code and its background and respect the minimum print size (see “Scanning & Printing” below).

V Card: share contact details people can quickly view and save. Guest Guide: share Wi-Fi, check-in info, house rules, schedules, and stay tips. Business Profile: present your business with links, contact info, and services.

What makes Qart different from a traditional QR platform?

Qart gives you access to a curated collection of artistic QR codes and lets you choose what happens when someone scans it: it can open a Qart experience (like a guide, a profile, or a v card) or simply redirect to a website.

While your plan is active, your Qart stays linked to your content. If you choose a custom design, that Qart can be exclusive to you. Otherwise, when your plan ends, it becomes part of the Qarts available in the “Home” collection again.

Do I need to download an app to use Qart?

No. On most phones, you can scan a Qart directly with your camera—no extra downloads needed.

If you want a faster, more accurate scan, you can use Google Lens (from the Google app). On iPhone, the built-in camera works great too.

Does Qart work on any phone?

Yes. Qart works on most modern phones (iOS and Android) that can scan QR codes and browse the internet.

If your phone has a camera and an internet connection, it should open without any issues.

Qart offers four options: Basic, Pro, Business, and Custom.

The plans and prices shown on the “Pricing” page are for reference only, since each Qart has its own plan and it is selected from its individual page.

Click on the artistic QR in Home or Favorites to open the Individual Qart page.

Once there, click “View Plans” and choose the option that best fits your needs.

Does Qart offer a free trial?

However, from each Qart’s individual page and from the “Guide”, you can explore and try the editor (change the destination, adjust options, and preview how it will look) before subscribing.

This is only to help you explore what’s possible—to activate and use a Qart, you’ll need to choose a plan.

How does billing work (monthly or yearly)?

Billing depends on the plan you choose. If you subscribe to a monthly plan, you’re charged month to month.

If you choose a yearly plan, you’re charged once per year. You can switch between monthly and yearly anytime from your account.

Can I change my plan at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade anytime, and you can also switch between monthly ↔ yearly.

If you upgrade, the change applies immediately. If you downgrade, the change applies at your next billing cycle.

If you have any remaining credit after a change, it will be automatically applied to your next payment.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel at any time. Your Qart will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle, and before it ends you can choose what happens when someone scans it (for example: show a message, redirect to a URL, or keep the current setup).

Refunds:

Monthly plans are non-refundable. For yearly plans, refunds may be reviewed case by case. If you need one, contact support with details and we’ll review your request. Having a yearly plan doesn’t guarantee a refund in every case.

How do I update my payment method?

On your QR card, you’ll see “Payment method” — click “Change” and follow the steps to update your card.

Where can I manage my Qart code?

From your account, go to “My QR Codes”. There you’ll see all your Qarts, and you can filter them by name or status.

To manage a specific one, open its card and click “Edit” to change its destination/function, update details, or download it.

Log in to your account and go to “My QR Codes”.

Choose the Qart you want to set up and click “Edit”.

In the “Set your QR destination” section, select what you want it to do when someone scans it (for example: Website, Restaurant Guide, Personal Profile, V Card, Guest Guide, or Business Profile).

Then fill in the required information and save your changes.

How do I change my Qart name?

Find the Qart you want to rename and click the pencil icon next to its name.

Enter the new name and save your changes.

How do I add, change, or remove my Qart logo?

Log in to your account and go to “My QR Codes”.

On the Qart card you want to edit, click “Add Logo”.

There you can upload a logo, replace it, or remove it. Then save your changes—and if you’d like, download your QR in the with logo version.

What’s the maximum logo size I can use?

There isn’t a fixed “maximum” size that works in every case, because it depends on the logo design or whether it has a transparent background.

We recommend starting with a small-to-medium logo and testing the scan on your phone.

If it scans well at different distances and in good lighting, you’re good to go. If it struggles, reduce the logo size, or use a version with a transparent background.

Tip: Also check the overlay’s color, transparency, and size — it can affect scanability.

Log in to your account and go to “My QR Codes”.

On the Qart card you want to download, click “Download”.

There you can choose the version you need: artistic, artistic with logo (if you’ve already added a logo), or black & white. Then confirm, and it will download as a PNG.

Where can I see my Qart status (active, pending, etc.)?

Log in to your account and go to “My QR Codes”.

At the top of each Qart card, you’ll see a status label (for example Active, Pending, etc.)

You can also use the Status filters to view only the Qarts you’re looking for.

What is my Qart page, and where do I edit it?

Your Qart page is what people see when they scan your Qart and you’ve chosen a Qart function (for example: Restaurant Guide, Contact Card (vCard), Business Profile, Guest Guide, etc.).

It’s basically what you see in the preview—this is the content and design your customer/user will see.

To edit it, log in to your account and go to “My QR Codes” → select your Qart → “Edit”. From there you can update the information, buttons, and sections based on the function you chose.

Note: If you set your Qart to Website, it won’t show a Qart page—it will simply redirect to the URL you enter.

How do I set up the main information (title, details, etc.)?

This is set up in the first editing step.

There you’ll fill in the main fields based on the function you choose (for example: name/title, description, contact info, social links, buttons, etc.).

The editor will guide you with sections and help text so you know what to add in each part.

Can I add images or a logo to my page?

Yes. In the first editing step, you can upload a main logo or profile photo (the one shown in the circular avatar).

You can also choose your page background in “Design your style” (color or image), depending on the function you’re setting up.

How do I add, edit, or remove buttons and links?

You do this in the first editing step (when you add your information and links).

Depending on the function you choose, you’ll see sections like “Link Buttons”, “Social Links”, or “Share”.

To add, click Add / Add button and fill in the label and URL. To edit, update the fields (text, link, etc.) directly. To remove, use the delete icon (X / trash) next to the button or link. Some buttons can be enabled or disabled with a switch/checkbox.

The editor is guided and intuitive—it shows you what to fill in at each step.

How do I change my page colors and style?

In your Qart editor, styling is set in the second step (after you fill in the main information like text, details, and your profile logo/photo).

In “Design your style”, you can adjust options like Layout, Background (color or image), and Text (colors).

Some functions show more or fewer styling options depending on the type of page you’re building.

Can I reorder the sections on my page?

Not yet. For now, sections are shown in a predefined order based on the function you choose for your Qart.

How do I preview my page before sharing it?

You can preview it in the editor using the on-screen preview (the phone mockup). It’s a helpful guide to see your design and how your page is coming together.

Note: the preview is referential. The final page may look different in size/spacing because the mockup screen is smaller than a real phone or a desktop display.

Once you save your changes, you’ll be able to view your full page (with all your info, function, design, images, and logo) on both mobile and desktop.

How do I publish my changes so they show up on my Qart?

When you’re done editing, select “Save” in the editor.

Once saved, your changes are published automatically and will appear the next time someone scans your Qart.

How do I scan a QR code from my phone?

Open your phone’s camera and point it at the QR code. Once it detects it, tap the link that appears to open it.

If you want a faster, more accurate scan, use Google Lens: open the Google app and tap the Lens icon (the little camera).

On many Android phones, Lens is also available from the Google search bar.

On iPhone, the built-in camera works great.

Do I need an app to scan a QR code?

No. On most phones you can scan a Qart directly with your camera, without installing anything extra.

If you want a faster, more accurate scan, you can use Google Lens (from the Google app). On iPhone, the built-in camera also works great.

What should I do if my camera doesn’t detect the QR?

Accepted Answer

Try scanning it with Google Lens: open the Google app and tap the Lens icon (the little camera). It often detects QR codes more accurately.

If it still doesn’t work, try this:

Move a bit closer or farther (avoid using zoom) Find better lighting and avoid reflections Clean your camera and make sure the full QR is visible (not cropped)

What’s the minimum size recommended to print a QR code?

As a general rule, we recommend printing it at least 3 × 3 cm so it scans comfortably.

If it will be scanned from farther away, increase the size (for example 5 × 5 cm or more).

Before printing many copies, do a quick test: print one and scan it from the real viewing distance.

What common issues can make a QR code hard to scan?

The most common ones are:

Too small for the scanning distance Low contrast (QR over busy or low-contrast backgrounds) Not enough margin around the QR (placed too close to other elements) Logo too large or poorly positioned, covering parts of the code Blurry or pixelated image (screenshots or low-quality files) Glare or reflections on laminated/shiny surfaces QR is cropped or distorted (stretched during design or printing)

What’s the difference between total scans and unique scans?

Accepted Answer

Total scans count every time your Qart is scanned (including repeats from the same person).

Unique scans count each person only once, even if they scan more than one time during the same period.

Note: For plan limits and billing, we use unique scans as the reference.

What metrics can I see (scans, location, etc.)?

From your account, go to “Analytics”.

There you can track your Qart performance and filter results by QR name, date range, and location (city and country).

Yes. For now, analytics are shown per Qart.

You can select a QR and view its metrics, but combined totals across two or more Qarts aren’t available yet.
